Fortnite’s next crossover character is ‘Horizon Zero Dawn’ Aloy

On the same day, Epic Games announced an investment of $ 200 million from Sony, the publisher revealed this brings another PlayStation character to Fortnite this week. Aloy from Horizon Zero Dawn will land on the island on April 15.

An Aloy outfit and others HZD– Themed items (like an emote, pickaxe, glider, and back bling) will debut in the Item Shop that day. A bundle of goodies includes an Aloy loading screen, and if you wear the outfit while you play Fortnite on PlayStation 5 you will get an Ice Hunter variant of this skin.

A Duos tournament Centered around arcs, Aloy’s weapon of choice, takes place April 14 on PS4 and PS5. You will receive more points for killing enemies with a bow. The best performing teams in each region will receive the HZD bundle as a reward.

Aloy joins Fortnite as part of its Gaming Legends series. Characters from other classic game franchises such as (Sony’s God of War), (Street Fighter) and (Halo) have all made their way to battle royale over the past few months.

Another icon of the game, Lara Croft, has recently arrived Fortnite next to the start of the Primal season. To mark the arrival of Aloy, Fortnite Team up the two adventurers in a limited-time mode. Players will automatically wear one of two Team Up character outfits! Aloy & Lara Duos, which you can play between 9 a.m.ET on April 16 and around the same time on April 18. Aloy will only have one bow and Lara will have to be content with her two pistols, but the weapons can be upgraded.

Aloy hits Fortnite just as Sony is preparing to . Starting April 19, PS4 and PS5 owners can claim it for free through the Play at Home program. A bunch of great indie games through the initiative until April 22.
