I (Matt) am a convert to synthetic underwear for hiking and strenuous outdoor activities in general. Cotton underwear gets horribly uncomfortable when sweaty and takes forever to dry. Polyester dries so much faster that I wear these boxer shorts exclusively when hiking and climbing. You can also get the Women’s briefs on sale for $ 20 ($ 8 off).
