The four-year wait is almost over. Netflix has set the premiere date for Season 6 of its sci-fi anthology series on June 15th. black mirror. This latest season creator Charlie Brooker called “the most unpredictable season” he’s worked on, noting that the new episodes “keep things fresh.”
The cast list is strong with this one. The upcoming season 6 stars Aaron Paul (breaking bad), Annie Murphy (Sitts Creek), Ben Barnes (shadow and bone), Himesh Patel (station eleven), Josh Hartnett (black hawk down), Kate Mara (House of Cards on the Sand), Rory Culkin (columbus), Salma Hayek Pinault (Frida)etc. As usual, this is an anthology series, so each actor probably only appears in his one episode, but we don’t know that.
To celebrate the premiere, Netflix has also released a new trailer full of interesting shots. Brooker has said in the past that the latest season will be more cinematic, and this trailer certainly lives up to that word.
