Ryan coolger go ahead with Black panther 2. Obviously, he restructured the script because the lead actor Chadwick boseman died last year of colon cancer at the age of 43.

After his death, fans were speculating on how the franchise would continue without him. Some have said the sequel should go full speed ahead, while others say let it go, as only Boseman can do the superhero justice. When actress Lupita Nyong’o (who plays Nikia in Black Panther) spoke to yahoo, she shed some light on how the cast and crew will move forward – which is easier said than done.

“I can’t even begin to imagine what it will be like to walk on set and not have her there.” Nyong’o and Boseman were good friends, and her loss had a personal impact on her: “Her passing is still extremely brutal for me.

The press asked the actress if she was excited about the shoot, but with a heavy sense of loss, how could anyone be excited? “People will ask me, ‘Are you anxious to get home?’ Excitement is not the word. I feel like I’m in a very pensive and meditative state about Black panther 2. ”

The good thing is that Coogler wrote a screenplay that honors the legacy of the late actor in every way. “We have a leader in Ryan, who feels very good like us, who also feels the loss in a very, very real way. And his idea, the way he remodeled the second movie, is so respectful of the loss that we’ve all experienced as a cast and as a world.

Just because Chadwick Boseman is gone doesn’t mean he’s not here by spirit. He left an impact on everyone who knew him, as well as the cast and crew of Black panther 2 will never forget what he left behind. “I can’t wait to get back together and honor what he started with us and keep his light through it. Because it left us a lot of light in which we will still bathe. I know for sure.

The film goes into production later this year and will shoot in Georgia. The Black Panther sequel release date is shown as Duly 22, 2022
