Clubhouse nascent android app will soon be much easier to find. TechCrunch reports this Clubhouse will make the Android version of its voice chat application accessible worldwide within a week. It will reach Brazil, Japan and Russia on May 18, with India and Nigeria receiving their first look three days later. Everyone in the world will have access to it by the afternoon of May 21.
The startup began beta testing of its Android app in the United States on May 9, just months after development began. The iPhone version has been available since March 2020.
There is a strong incentive for Clubhouse to grow rapidly, although its Android app is still in testing. Facebook, Twitter and other internet giants are rolling out Clubhouse-like features in an attempt to reduce app momentum and keep users on their social platforms. This could encourage new users to join Clubhouse where they would otherwise be tempted to stick to existing social networks.
