Good luck: Recognizing the role of cybersecurity in the state’s growth, senior Uttar Pradesh government officials met on Friday to discuss a roadmap for protecting the state’s digital assets from attacks.
Deputy Premier Brajesh Pathak, guest of honor at the event, hosted by The Economic Times, state government and Zscaler (a cloud security company headquartered in San Jose, Calif.), emphasized the importance of cybersecurity.
“State governments are developing cybersecurity policies. We are motivated to set an example before other states as well as the G20 countries and their digital economy groups. CERT (Computer Emergency Response Team) ) line, a specialized unit will be raised in Uttar Pradesh to combat cybercrime,” Pathak said.
Deputy Inspector General N. Colanci spoke about the necessary measures to keep residents safe. “We must follow a Zero Trust policy, which means we should never trust anyone with sensitive information online. should not be trusted,” said Colanci.
