Google is dropping the Google Play Movies & TV app for Samsung, LG, and Vizio smart TVs, as well as Roku devices. As of June 15, 2021, you will no longer be able to access the software on these platforms. Instead, you’ll have to go via YouTube to watch any content you have purchased in the past. All Google Play credits associated with your account will still be there, allowing you to purchase new movies and TV shows. However, your watchlist will not be transferred, and support for Family Sharing is more limited.
