How to use eSIM on Android

The first step is to go to your phone’s Settings app. Icon styles vary depending on the smartphone you use, but they are usually represented by mechanical gears.

If you have a physical SIM card in your phone, you can change certain settings related to that SIM’s connection. But that’s not what we’re interested in.
Instead, remove the old physical SIM card from your phone using the included SIM ejector tool (if it was there originally), go back to the menu and click on the[代わりに eSIM を使用する]Tap to continue setup and continue on the next page.

The next step is to use your smartphone to scan the QR code provided by your network carrier when ordering an eSIM or upgrading your contract to the eSIM version. If you don’t have your QR code handy, call your carrier immediately.
If you have the QR code handy, point your phone at it and make sure you can see the entire QR code in the on-screen camera preview.
