Morgan Stanley employees and customers who have not received a Covid-19 vaccine will not be allowed into the bank’s New York City offices, according to an internal memo seen by the Financial Times.
“As of July 12, all employees, casual staff, customers and visitors will be required to certify that they are fully vaccinated to access the Morgan Stanley buildings in New York and Westchester,” said the note, signed by the director of human resources Mandell Crawley.
After this date, those who do not certify to be fully vaccinated will lose access to the building.
The bank has already set up workspaces “only for vaccines” in certain sectors of activity, in particular institutional titles and wealth management, according to the note.
Morgan Stanley did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
