Razer made a small 130W GaN charger that costs $ 180

Depending on who you ask, gallium nitride (GaN) electronics could one day change the world. And we’re already seeing hardware leading to smaller, more efficient power adapters. At its E3 press conference, Razer announced a 130W GaN charger. Measuring 3.2 x 7.7 x 6.2mm, it’s small enough to fit in your pocket but can charge two USB-C devices simultaneously. at 100 W and two other USB-A devices at 18 W each. With bendable pins, the entire adapter weighs 349g or just over 12 ounces. Included in the box are international adapters that allow you to use it outside of North America.

Over the next 30 days, you’ll be able to get all of these features for the sky-high price of $ 180. Even by GaN charger standards, it’s a lot to pay for an AC adapter. On Amazon you can find some like this from RAVPower which sells for around $ 60.
