Register for Agricultural and Food Science Exploration Day

More County 4-H and Riverland Community College have partnered to present their second annual annual event.
Agricultural and Food Science Exploration Day on June 28th. This program is for youth in his 9th through her 12th grades and is a great opportunity for those interested in a career in agriculture and food science.
The program will take place on June 28th from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm at Riverland Community College.
During the day, participants participate in engaging tours, hands-on learning labs, and develop leadership skills to explore career possibilities in agriculture, animal science, and food science. Tours include Northern Country Corp, Reed’s Brown Swiss Dairy, and Hormel Foods’ Chemistry and Microbiology Lab. At each location, youth participate in hands-on activities designed to help them apply what they have learned. Participants will also learn about leadership with her 4-H ambassador for the state.
