If I could get a massage once a week I would. Until then, I’ll be using a massage gun whenever I’m feeling bad, and so should you. Percussion therapy devices, as they are formally called, can help soothe sore muscles and can be a godsend after a workout or after sitting at a desk all day.
Theragun, which you’ve probably heard of, makes some of the most popular devices on the market, but they are often expensive. One of our favorite alternatives, the SKG F5 massage gun, is much more affordable, and even more so now as it’s on sale for almost half the price (with a special code you’ll need to add at checkout). Unlike Theragun devices, it adds heat to the mixture.

Is the SKG F5 right for you?
The F5 has three attachment heads to get the right massage for every need, and its intensity levels should work well for most people. (If you’re a serious athlete, you might want something more powerful, like a Theragun.)
It has one advantage that its competitors lack: heat. The bottom of the handle heats up to three different temperatures maximum at around 127 degrees Fahrenheit, which can help you relax tight muscles before getting in with any of the accessories. It cools down quickly.
Best of all, the whole thing is quite small, so you can take it anywhere. Whether you are working out, spending eight or more hours a day at a desk, or falling asleep in an awkward position every now and then, you can (gently) overcome the tension in your muscles without spending enough tensing up again.
