Sony’s latest free PlayStation games include ‘The Witness’

Just like what Sony promised in February is give more PlayStation games this month as part of its Play At Home program – and yes, you still don’t need a PS Plus membership to get them. The last set of gifts includes The witness, an open world game that will have you explore an island to uncover full 3D clues and puzzles so you can regain your memory and find your way back. Foam, which was once a PSVR exclusive, is also in the list. In Zelda-esque VR game, you control a mouse heroine to navigate platforms, solve puzzles, and fight enemies.

The underwater adventure of the giant squid Abzû is now also available as a free download if you’re in the mood to swim with sea creatures and explore the ruins and murals of an ancient civilization. You can also download the gunfight dungeon crawler Enter the Gungeon and VR shooter Infinite ground, which was updated for free by members of the original development team for the PS4 and PSVR. The list includes an underwater survival game Subnautica and VR platform Astro Bot Rescue Mission, as well as. Finally, you can dance like a space beetle in a rhythmic action game Thumper and explore a world inhabited by origami-like animals Paper beast.

Sony originally launched last year’s Play At Home program for players fleeing their homes due to the coronavirus pandemic. He revived the initiative in February, promising more months of free games to encourage people to maintain their social estrangement. These particular games will be available for free until April 22, 11 p.m. ET. Ratchet and Clank, which was on the February free games list, will remain a giveaway until March 31 at 11 p.m. ET. Meanwhile, Horizon Zero Dawn Complete Edition (with the Frozen wilds extension) will be available for free from April 19, 11 p.m. ET until May 14, 11 p.m. ET.
