You will have to wait longer if you want a new correction of Lego Star Wars – maybe still a long time. The edge reports that TT Games has delayed its encompassing Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga by an indefinite period. It was originally scheduled to ship in 2020, but had been pushed back to spring 2021 – that’s quite a gap when the game was unveiled in 2019.
The developers haven’t explained what caused the delay besides needing “more time.” Details of the launch would arrive “as soon as possible,” added TT Games.
The game delays were too common in recent times, in part due to the challenges of remote development during the COVID-19 pandemic. However, indefinite delays are still relatively rare. Although this does not necessarily mean Skywalker Saga is in trouble, this suggests that the game’s particular challenges are significant enough that it will take more than a short time for them to complete.
