Starting this week, Twitter users will see a prompt at the top of their timeline with information about COVID-19 vaccines, the company said monday. The notification will prompt people to obtain information about the safety and effectiveness of these vaccines from public health experts. “As COVID-19 vaccinations become more widely available, we want you to have access to the latest information on vaccines in your country,” the company said in a tweet.
The metric follows similar metrics from other social networks. Earlier today, YouTube started streaming , highlighting what people can hope for once the pandemic is over. Facebook, meanwhile, was that let people know once their condition has opened up vaccination to all adults. The company plans to post the prompt in other countries when it makes sense.
