, Twitter began testing a feature that allowed you to use the iOS Share Sheet to add tweets to Instagram Stories. Now, more than six months later, the company is rolling out this tool for all iOS users. You can access it by tapping on the share icon, which you can find under each tweet, and then tapping on the Instagram Stories option at the bottom of the menu that appears.
In the current iteration of the feature, tweets you share on Instagram end up as non-interactive elements in your stories, and you can’t tap any of them to see it in its original context on Twitter. So the feature doesn’t do much to bring people back to Twitter, but it does make tweets more readable in their final story form. It also means that you can avoid clogging your camera roll with screenshots.
