Guard dogs: Legion joined the growth list of Games to get a new generation performance improvement. Ubisoft has ad that The Lawless Adventure will support 60 frames per second (FPS) on PS5 and Xbox Series X as part of its upcoming Title 4.5 update. While billed as a next-gen launch game with ray tracing and 4K resolution, Legion worked at 30 FPS locked on the latest Sony and Microsoft consoles.
As Kotaku points out, fans may have already heard about the upgrade as Ubisoft teased the 60 FPS mode during a Reddit AMA in April. Naturally, the developer said this was “one of the biggest demands of our next-gen console gamers.” Ubisoft has also rolled out next-gen updates for other popular titles, including Assassin’s Creed Valhalla and Rainbow Six Siege, which targets 120 FPS at dynamic 4K resolution.
LegionUpdate 4.5 also fixes a large number of bugs related to playable hero Mina Sidhu, a DLC character introduced in Title update 4.0 earlier this month. In addition, Ubisoft is adding a new tactical operation called Project OMNI. The developer has not confirmed a release date for the new update and said patch notes will be revealed closer to launch.
